Challenging to energize people and society with sports data

SSK is a company with a history of more than 70 years and is continuing to evolve while actively incorporating ICT (Information and Computer Technology) to energize people and society through sport. It is a competitive sport that offers records and competition, perspiration and excitement. However, with a diversity of social environments and values, it is expected to play a more critical role in health, refreshment and communication, etc. This time, we would like to introduce a project in which SSK has developed a new product called Smart League to further expand people’s athletic abilities.

This time, we want to introduce a new product project that SSK has developed called Smart League with the aim of further expanding people’s athletic abilities. Smart League is an application that converts scorebook data to improve team strength and can aggregate/analyze team and individual data just by entering match information. Even if you don’t know how to write the scorebook, you can still enter the match information easily .

What SSK wants to achieve with the new service is “Connect with customers, experience the data analysis/improvement cycle through sports and improve PDCA’s thinking ability.” The type of sport that we are proud of the most is baseball. However, since this is our first attempt at application development, we are looking for a partner that emphasizes whether it is possible to run in parallel as an IT strategic partner even after development, instead of ending with a single development application or not. Launching the service is not the goal, it is the beginning. We are looking for a partner that can continue to improve and expand our services and business even after the launch.

The decisive factor to choose Sun* There are 5 specific proposals for future business development: “Branding”, “Object”, “Extended Function”, “New Business Model” and 

“Growing from analytical data”. Business growth Proposals are not found in conventional SIers and contract developers, hence Sun’s attitude and recommended content are  consistent with the image of IT strategic partners that customers are looking for.

Sharing about value creation and co-creation process

Since the beginning of development, we have held meetings almost every week and everyone worked hard together to build it. Starting with the workshop, we will continue the project using various tools and approaches such as concept breast, daily communication via Chatwork, Slack and spreadsheet. One of the values Sun* brings is that you can learn the essentials of launching new businesses and products by experiencing this process of value creation together.
