Fullstack Engineer (AI-Oriented with AI Training Program)
WHAT WE DO:
At Sun Asterisk, we build cutting-edge, high-performance systems to tackle complex challenges, with a strong focus on AI-powered products.
As a Fullstack Engineer (AI-Oriented), you will:
- Participate in a structured AI training and upskilling program to gradually develop AI knowledge and hands-on experience
- Learn how to integrate AI/LLM capabilities into real-world products under guidance from senior engineers and AI specialists
- Progress toward becoming a Fullstack AI Engineer through on-the-job training, mentoring, and practical AI-powered projects
- Develop frontend and backend features using modern web technologies
- Build responsive UI components and seamless user experiences for AI-driven tools
- Design and implement backend business logic and API layers using tRPC, REST/GraphQL
- Integrate and optimize database queries using Prisma, Kysely, and PostgreSQL
- Ensure quality through code reviews, testing (unit/integration), and observability
WHO YOU ARE:
#Mandatory Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Fullstack Engineer (frontend & backend)
- Strong experience with at least one of the following: TypeScript, Python (experience with other relevant backend/frontend technologies is also welcomed)
- Experience building production-grade web applications with modern frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js, or equivalent)
- Solid backend experience with tRPC or similar patterns (REST/GraphQL)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and query performance optimization
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or GCP
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
- Exposure to AI-related projects or tasks is an advantage
#Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with AI tools or LLM-powered platforms
- Experience with Neon PostgreSQL or other serverless databases
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Zod, Vercel, or similar modern frontend tooling
- Understanding of Edge Functions or Serverless API patterns
- Experience using Prisma, Kysely, or other modern query builders
