Front-end Engineer (Angular/English Fluency)
WHAT WE DO
At Sun Asterisk, we build cutting-edge, high-performance systems to tackle complex challenges. As a developer, you will:
- Build responsive web applications and components using Angular.
- Develop and embed iFrame-based widgets that integrate seamlessly into third-party portals and partner environments.
- Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to implement frontend features aligned with business needs.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and secure frontend architecture.
- Collaborate with the CTO and remote teams (including India) to ship high-quality user-facing features.
WHO YOU ARE
#Experience Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years using Angular (v8+).
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture.
- Experience building responsive UI that works across desktop and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with building and embedding iFrame widgets is a strong plus.
- Solid grasp of RESTful API integration, authentication flows, and state management.
- Fluent English communication for working with international teams.
- Willingness to attend occasional evening meetings with the U.S./India-based team.
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in fintech, banking, or embedded finance platforms.
- Exposure to micro frontends, web components, or framework-agnostic embedding strategies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend, testing libraries (e.g., Jest, Cypress), and performance monitoring.
