Front-end Engineer (Angular/English Fluency)

WHAT WE DO

At Sun Asterisk, we build cutting-edge, high-performance systems to tackle complex challenges. As a developer, you will:

  • Build responsive web applications and components using Angular.
  • Develop and embed iFrame-based widgets that integrate seamlessly into third-party portals and  partner environments.
  • Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to implement frontend features aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and secure frontend architecture.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and remote teams (including India) to ship high-quality user-facing features.

WHO YOU ARE

#Experience Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years using Angular (v8+).
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture.
  • Experience building responsive UI that works across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with building and embedding iFrame widgets is a strong plus.
  • Solid grasp of RESTful API integration, authentication flows, and state management.
  • Fluent English communication for working with international teams.
  • Willingness to attend occasional evening meetings with the U.S./India-based team.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in fintech, banking, or embedded finance platforms.
  • Exposure to micro frontends, web components, or framework-agnostic embedding strategies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend, testing libraries (e.g., Jest, Cypress), and performance monitoring.
