At Sun*, our BrSE (Bridging System Engineer) team brings together a powerful combination of project management skills, strong technical knowledge, business analysis capability, and advanced Japanese language proficiency. As the face of Sun* working directly with our clients, BrSEs play a vital role in delivering the best possible solutions to users, side by side with our enthusiastic development teams.
WHAT WE DO
- Act as a bridge between development teams in Vietnam and clients in Japan
- Communicate with clients to negotiate, analyze, and clarify specifications and documentation, and explain them to the development team
- Manage the progress of various types of projects such as
- Web applications (Ruby, PHP, Java, C++, C#)
- Mobile applications (iOS, Android, Unity)
- Support Japanese PMs in controlling progress, project management, and resolving issues
- Provide consulting and project updates to clients throughout the product development cycle
- Participate in training and human resource development activities, contributing to building a positive company culture as required by management
WHO YOU ARE:
1. Attitude
- Highly proactive and capable of working under pressure
- Strong customer-oriented mindset and actions
2. Skills
- Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above, with strong communication skills
- Solid experience in overall project management (planning, monitoring, and control within project scope)
- Proven ability to manage schedules and timelines effectively
- Proficient in system and business requirements analysis.
- Team-building and training experience is a strong plus
3. Knowledge
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, systems analysis, and business logic
- Familiarity with Japanese working styles and culture is a plus
4. Experience
- 2+ years of experience in BrSE or equivalent roles
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage
- Experience managing large-scale projects is a plus
