Solution Architect (Lead Presales/English fluency)

WHO WE ARE:

  • In the context of Sun* Global’s rapid expansion, we are seeking a Lead Presales to strengthen our solution consulting capabilities and support international business opportunities.
  • This role will lead all presales activities for outsourcing projects — clarifying customer problems, designing technical solutions, and coordinating with delivery teams to ensure feasibility and proper implementation. WHAT WE DO:

A. Presales & Customer Engagement (50%)

  • Act as the main point of contact with customers during the presales stage; clarify high-level problems and needs
  • Analyze business/technical requirements to propose suitable and feasible solution directions
  • Prepare consulting materials such as capability decks, case studies, and solution references
  • Collaborate with Sales to define win-themes and solution messaging for each opportunity
  • Prepare solution proposals and lead pitching sessions, demos, workshops, and technical discussions as the solution expert
  • Join business trips/conferences with the Sales team as a solution expert, leading technical discussions and building customer trust

B. Technical Solutioning & Delivery Consultancy (40%)

  • Translate business needs into high-level technical requirements and define solution scope
  • Build high-level architectures, advise on technology choices, and define suitable implementation approaches
  • Ensure the solution is feasible based on internal capabilities; identify risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Suggest a technology roadmap aligned with the customer’s long-term strategy
  • Support the delivery team in the early stages to explain solution logic and ensure correct implementation direction
  • Join difficult or high-complexity projects as a technical expert

C. Solution Standards & Capability Development (10%)

  • Build and standardize presales templates (proposals, SOWs, estimations) and solution patterns to improve solution quality
  • Train presales/engineers on solution design thinking, pitching, and technical consulting
  • Collaborate on building case studies, capability decks, and technical documents to showcase company capabilities
  • Analyze technology trends and customer needs from deals to recommend technical capabilities to invest in
  • Track trends in web/app/cloud/data/AI and advise Sales on service expansion opportunities

WHO YOU ARE:

A. Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software development; at least 1–2 years in Presales/Solution Lead roles with direct customer interaction
  • Experience working with international customers (US/EU/APAC) in discovery, pitching, or technical discussion activities
  • Participated in proposal, estimation, SOW preparation, and high-level architecture for web/app/cloud projects
  • Prefer candidates who have worked on complex deals or high-risk projects requiring fast, cross-domain solution thinking

B. Technical & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of web/app/system architecture, APIs, integrations, microservices/SOA, and common deployment models
  • Solid knowledge of key technologies:
    • Backend: Java/NodeJS/Python or equivalent stacks
    • Frontend: React, Vue, NextJS or equivalent
    • Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP
    • Good understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, security, performance & scalability
  • Familiarity with modern standards and deployment models: REST APIs, event-driven architectures, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and outsourcing delivery models
  • Ability to evaluate feasibility, risks, and effort in an outsourcing context

C. Skills

  • Communication & Presentation: Fluent English communication; confident with strong presentation skills
  • Problem-Solving & Street-Smart: Quick to understand problems, flexible in handling situations, and capable of analyzing practical trade-offs
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Proactive, supportive, and able to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.

D. Attitude
