Front-end Engineer (English Fluency)
WHAT WE DO:
At Sun Asterisk, we build cutting-edge, high-performance systems to tackle complex challenges. As a Frontend Developer (Vue.js), you will:
- Develop and maintain modern web application user interfaces with a focus on performance, scalability, and seamless user experience
- Utilize modern technologies such as ES6+, Vue.js, Vuex, TypeScript, and component-based architecture to build high-quality products
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into practical, user-friendly interfaces
- Actively contribute ideas and provide feedback on backend API design to ensure smooth frontend-backend integration
- Take ownership in delivering features and products efficiently while maintaining high standards of code quality
- Continuously research, evaluate, and propose new technologies or approaches to solve complex technical challenges
WHO YOU ARE:
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Vue.js (preferably Vue 3) in building scalable web applications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and a solid understanding of browser behavior and rendering mechanisms
- Experience with TypeScript in frontend development
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI development practices
- Strong experience with Vue ecosystem (Pinia/Vuex, Vue Router, component-based architecture)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON, and asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await)
- Good understanding of frontend security practices (XSS, CSRF)
- Experience with unit testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest) is a plus
- Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) for version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and flexibly
Bonus Points
- Experience with other frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Familiarity with modern build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack)
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), including practices like TDD, pair programming, and CI/CD
- Experience debugging and optimizing frontend applications using browser dev tools and performance monitoring tools
- Understanding of scalable frontend architecture and best practices
