Fullstack Engineer (Shopify/English Fluency)

WHAT WE DO

  • E-commerce Excellence: We build cutting-edge, high-performance Shopify stores and custom e-commerce solutions to transform digital commerce experiences for our clients.
  • Custom Development: Own and enhance Shopify-based solutions including theme development, app integration, and custom functionality using Liquid, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
  • Platform Migration: Lead and implement the migration from legacy e-commerce platforms to Shopify, including data migration and custom feature development.
  • Technical Innovation: Collaborate with frontend engineers and designers to support advanced e-commerce functionality and user experience optimization.
  • Performance & Reliability: Help improve platform performance, error handling, payment processing, and test coverage for Shopify stores and applications.
  • Development & Deployment: Focus on agile development and deployment workflows with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Shopify development best practices.
  • Ownership: Work in a small team environment with ownership over feature delivery, code quality, and merchant success.

WHO YOU ARE

#Experience Requirements
Mandatory Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional web development experience with at least 1+ year focused on Shopify platform
  • Solid understanding of Shopify Liquid templating, theme customization, and basic Shopify APIs
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
  • Experience with Git version control and basic deployment processes
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations
  • Basic knowledge of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals for e-commerce
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first development
  • Experience working in collaborative development environments.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to Shopify Plus features or enterprise e-commerce implementations
  • Basic understanding of Shopify app development or Shopify Partner ecosystem
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) and server-side development with Node.js
  • Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and webhook implementations
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass/SCSS) and build tools
  • Understanding of headless commerce concepts (Shopify Storefront API, GraphQL)
  • Basic knowledge of testing practices and debugging tools
  • Exposure to e-commerce analytics and conversion tracking.
